Find Runnels County Booking Photos

A mugshot of a released Runnels County inmate may disappear from the current jail roster even though the booking photo remains an agency record. Runnels County booking-photo discovery begins with the Sheriff’s official roster for a person still listed, then moves to a focused records request after release. State prison, court, federal, registry, news, and third-party channels answer narrower questions and can be out of date. This resource points to source types rather than hosting a mugshot gallery. A photograph documents one booking or intake event. It does not prove guilt, final disposition, release, or present custody.

Runnels Released Mugshot Records

A booking photo is tied to a specific arrest and custody episode. The image may remain in the Sheriff's records after the person is no longer shown on the live roster. It should be matched with the booking number, arrest or book date, and agency. A name-only image match is weak because people can share names and one person can have several bookings.

Texas Government Code Chapter 552 establishes the baseline right to request public government records. It does not promise that every image will be instantly online or unredacted. Juvenile information, protected identifiers, active-investigation material, victim information, sealed or expunged content, and other lawful exceptions may affect production. A request should seek segregable public portions rather than demand an unqualified file.

A photograph does not contain the legal outcome. Pair it with the court disposition and release sheet. A release may be bond, dismissal, time served, sentence completion, probation, or transfer. The photo alone cannot distinguish those events.

Record limit: A Runnels County booking photo proves neither guilt nor release and should never replace the court and custody records.

Find Runnels Released Inmate Mugshots

The best channel depends on whether the person is still listed and which agency created the image. The official Kologik configuration says Runnels roster photographs are not hidden. Yet history mode is disabled, so the public display is short-lived. TDCJ has a separate intake image, while federal and registry sources cover only their defined populations.

VINELink's replacement, Texas IVSS-Counties, is for event search and notices, not a dependable historical photo gallery. A missing image or person does not prove that a record was erased. It can mean the current-only interface no longer exposes it.

Note: Record the publisher, source agency, booking date, and date viewed whenever an image is used to identify the related custody episode.

Runnels Sheriff Mugshot Access

The Runnels County Sheriff page links directly to the official Kologik roster. Its provider parameter says public jail roster photos are not hidden. A current record can also show arrest and booking data, charges, bond, physical descriptors, arresting agency, days jailed, and warrant information. Those fields describe the current entry, not the final disposition.

The official roster is shown below through its Runnels County source.

The interface can expose a photo while a person is listed, but its disabled history mode means it should not be described as a released-mugshot archive.

No Sheriff-branded mobile app was found or advertised in the official sweep. The roster works as a web route on a mobile device, and IVSS handles notifications. CIDNET is a communications and account portal. Neither should be renamed as a Runnels mugshot app. The Runnels County 24-hour release page explains why the live roster cannot be widened into a recent-release feed.

Request a Runnels Booking Photo

A narrow request gives the Sheriff enough information to locate the correct image without asking the office to create a new analysis. The county site publishes no Sheriff-specific request form, dedicated intake email, records-counter hours, fixed local fee, or promised turnaround. Call the Sheriff's administrative number at 325-365-2121 before sending a request to confirm the accepted delivery method and address.

  1. Identify one booking. Give the full name, useful aliases, booking number or CCN if known, and the arrest or booking date.
  2. Name the existing records. Ask for the booking photograph and the booking/release sheet tied to that episode.
  3. Ask for release fields. Include actual release date and time, release type, destination or receiving agency, charges, bonds, and related disposition fields.
  4. Request electronic copies. Ask for them if available and request a cost estimate before chargeable work begins.
  5. Preserve the response. Keep any explanation of redaction, no responsive record, or the need to contact a different custodian.

Texas requires prompt production, but it does not guarantee that every request finishes within ten business days. If production cannot occur within ten working days, the public-information officer must provide a written reasonable date and time. Charges follow Texas and Attorney General rules. Ask for an estimate instead of assuming the photo is free.

Unofficial Runnels Mugshot Copies

Regional news and third-party arrest publishers may preserve a Sheriff-supplied photo after it leaves the live roster. They are discovery leads, not release records. A stale image can remain online after dismissal, transfer, sentence completion, expunction, or a later booking. The surrounding caption may omit the booking number, source date, or court result.

Do not infer current custody from an old news item. Compare the image and its date with the Sheriff's booking record. Then check the County Clerk for a county-level misdemeanor disposition or the District Clerk for a felony disposition. A court order explains the legal outcome, while the jail release sheet provides the physical departure time.

No commercial mugshot publisher or data-broker link is needed to verify an official image. If an unofficial copy appears inaccurate or incomplete, document its URL and wording, obtain the agency and court records, and use the publisher's dispute process where applicable. Avoid any service that conditions basic correction on payment.

Note: A news or aggregator image may be authentic yet still fail to show release reason, case outcome, or present status.

Runnels Mugshot Correction and Removal

Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 109 regulates covered publishers of criminal-record information, including arrest photographs. It requires a dispute process, investigation within 45 business days, notice after completion, and prompt correction or removal of incomplete or inaccurate information without a fee. It is not a blanket prohibition on publishing mugshots and does not guarantee removal of an accurate public image.

Expunction and nondisclosure are different. Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 55A governs expunction. A final order can direct covered agencies to delete, destroy, or return covered arrest records as the law requires. Government Code Chapter 411 nondisclosure generally restricts public dissemination rather than erasing every underlying record. Release or dismissal alone grants neither remedy.

FCRA notice: This private resource is not a consumer reporting agency. Mugshot information may not be used for any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

An official agency should receive the signed order or correction evidence through its stated process. A separate request may be needed for a third-party copy because the publisher controls its own site. Keep proof of submission and the publisher's response. Legal questions about eligibility or enforcement belong with a qualified attorney or the court, not a photo archive.

Runnels State Prison Photo Requests

A Runnels County case may later move to TDCJ, which creates a separate corrections image. The TDCJ public current-inmate search does not display photographs, and its informal email information service expressly refuses photo requests. It is also current-only, so a former prisoner normally disappears instead of appearing with a released label.

Government Code section 552.029 identifies a TDCJ department photograph among specified public inmate information, subject to applicable law. Use the formal TDCJ Public Information route and ask separately for the identification or intake photograph, incarceration history, and final release or discharge record. Supply the TDCJ number or strong identifiers.

The state image does not replace the Runnels County booking photo. Each belongs to a different custody episode and agency. Label both by source and date to avoid presenting a prison intake image as the county arrest image.

Runnels Registry Photos Have Limits

The Texas public sex-offender registry may show a color photograph for a person subject to Chapter 62 registration. It can also show offense, conviction information, and whether the person was discharged, paroled, or remains on community or mandatory supervision. Its scope is limited to covered registrants. Most released people are outside it.

The official Texas registry search is the source for the interface shown below.

Texas registry photo search for a released Runnels County record

The registry is useful only when its legal coverage applies. Absence cannot prove release, discharge, lack of history, or removal of a county booking image.

When the registry and another photo source differ, compare identifiers and dates before deciding they depict the same person. Route questions about the booking image to the Sheriff and registry-status questions to DPS.

A federal custody result has similar limits. The BOP locator can retain an actual release date and a “Released” or “Not in BOP Custody” result, but it does not provide the Runnels booking photo. USMS has no comparable public historical locator, and an ICE result concerns immigration detention. Each system can help explain where a person went, yet the image created by Runnels County remains with the county custodian.

The durable method is to build a small record set: the agency photo, booking identifier, release sheet, and court disposition. That combination identifies the image and supplies the outcome that a mugshot cannot communicate. If any public copy lacks its date or source, label that limit instead of guessing.

Keep later copies separate from the original agency file. Cropping, captions, and reposting can remove the identifiers needed to match a photo to the right booking.
